Chef de Partie
At Winston Bistro Bar, guests don’t order three-course meals for themselves; instead, they share a table full of smaller dishes. Our menu changes with the seasons. For the kitchen, this means a high volume of orders at once and ensuring that all plates for a table are ready to leave the pass together.
We are looking for an independent chef to join our team. You will work directly alongside the head chef: during the day, you’ll handle the mise-en-place, and during service, you’ll manage your own station, checking every plate before it goes out. And when the ticket printer is running non-stop around 7:30 PM, you’re the one who stays calm and keeps things moving.

What are you going to do?
You ensure the mise-en-place is ready on time, so the kitchen is fully prepared for service.
You cook according to Winston’s recipes and ensure that every plate looks identical, even the fiftieth one of the evening.
You process multiple receipts at once while keeping a clear overview.
You check your ingredients for freshness and shelf life, and you taste everything you make.
During service, you coordinate with the head chef and the waitstaff to ensure that dishes for the same table leave the kitchen together.
You keep your workspace and equipment clean and organized, and you work in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
What we're looking for
You have experience as a chef de partie, or you are a cook ready to take that next step.
You work neatly and stay organized, even at the end of a long shift.
You manage your own workload independently and jump in to help where needed.
You stay calm even when ten orders pile up at once, and you know exactly which one to prioritize.
You see what needs to be done and don't wait to be asked.
Working evenings and weekends is just part of the job for you.
You are familiar with HACCP guidelines. A HACCP certificate or a Social Hygiene certificate is a plus.
